For the December news, could you put something in it about that Elemental show I've heard about, it sounds a blast?

H-G wrote:

Could I have:

- The straight cut cam gears.
- The lower pulley tinware piece (second one down from the top with just the cutout for the dipstick).
- The upper pulley tinware piece.

I already have the following:

- The 6th pic in Aircooled Engine (tinware - fanshroud, barrel tinware, wiper parts).
- The aluminium sprung push rod tubes.
- The oil cooler (for niffler)

Sorted, these photos where after you'd picked up the tinware etc.

OK, a few of you knew this was coming but I think I'm in a good spot to start pushing this out.  As I can't appear to attach a spreadsheet, have a look through the photo album links.  I've broken them down into folders so you only need to go through those that may interest you.  I'm working through the list to sort prices but if you see anything you're interested in then let me know and Ill put that to the top of my list.  I can deliver items to Slough if paid before hand.

Now I've got an excitable bogey to drive I intend to get to one of these, however not this month as Abi has already arranged to meet up with someone at Kieron's in2Dubs on the very same evening.

You would, of course, be welcomed warmly into the bosom of the Lazy Otter.  Just don't get a nose bleed form being too far up-narf and stain the furniture  default/lol

Hi there Matey  default/hello

You need to uplod photos to photobucket or similar then copy/paste the link into the post.  Should work from there  default/wink

Where are you based and which meet will you be heading for? You don't need to drive a Dub to the meets to join in.

Hi All,

Just a couple of shots from the Northern Chapters annual pilgrimage to Stanford Hall.  Despite all the vehicles there, the only ones i got photos of are the ones in the cruise on the way home...but they where pretty cool as well - except Sharkus who took off like a rocket and i only just got in the group shot!

OK, it would appear I can update peoples profiles but it's easy to upload your own direct from your own system.  The images need to be less that 100x100 pixels, and less than 30kb.  Pictures for the forum require an upload from PhotoB, though there is an FB page as well ;-)  https://www.facebook.com/search/str/spl … ywords_top

A proper 'flushing oil' is only for use on newly reconned engines and it's a thinner oil for 'flushing' the galleries and getting into all the small, thinner crevices.  What i think you're revering to is an engine flush which is a liquid you add to your existing engine oil to help it clear out the engine of sludge and deposits.

Personally, I would use the engine flush as you don't know the history of the oil changes the engine has been exposed to.  I tend to use it whenever I change the oil in an aircooled to help stop possible hotspots developing through deposit build up.  If you can, then fit a magnetic oil drain plug which will help catch any random bit of metal that may be floating around the engine.

If it helps, I've just used this on my black Bug and T25 diesel.
