Just Joined......
Hiya,
Live in Rayleigh, had a pristine '66 Type 2 KG for 7 years, but
grandchildren out grew the back "seat", so sold last summer:|
The idea was an Earlybay - looked at loads, but after 100's of
miles and upping the 'rust' budget each time finally gave up.
For a fraction of the budget I've bought a made-over '68 Beetle,
which I collect this Saturday - with a view to the coming season.

Junkie - yes photo's ,when the weather breaks (got to do them for the agreed value insurance thing), then all I have to do is work out how to get them on here-I'm IT limited (that is nearly an anogram for ilite - - - -....smile).
By the way the 'off white' is a bit creamy in colour - like it........JIM.

Sorry folks, had hoped to meet some of you tonight but : son-in-law away on business/daughter come down with Flu = we get the grandchildren overnight,
and since I was out last night (West Ham Utd) I had to do my duty tonight.....
Just noticed next Chelmsford meet is 11/03 (we're in Spain then!!!!) so think it
