In brief: I'm a self confessed thrill seeker, even though I'm turning 35! I used to DJ in the rave scene back in the 80's but it's been years since I've played, then I became a club dancer for a lil bit of extra cash and a giggle, Aswell as my VDub's I love my bikes.. I've raced them for about 25 years! I done skydiving for a while but I've not done that for ages (Bummer!!). I'll try anything once ;)
History: It was first imported into the UK in 1984 by an American Colonel as a new van from Germany. Passed onto the next base commander and then onto a lady in Suffolk who did 8k in 15 years in it, fell ill and eventually passed to the guy I bought it from who did 4k in it. Has every bill and reciept from purchase date.
1984 Westy named Wilbur :D
2ltr aircooled, twin carb, 4speed manual, totally standard with 74k on the clock (hopefully a few more to come!).
Pretty much all original apart from the carpet. "Nice" Avacado and cream cupboards, beige door cards in the back, yellow curtains, green, brown and orange check seats (hmmmm).
It has a standard 2 burner hob, 3way fridge and standard sink unit with a 12v dribble of water.
The Cab is totally standard, even has the original warning stickers and separate radio and tape player. Brown door cards and carpet.
White with some interesting green stripes. It's had a respray at some point and evidence of the filler monster in places!!!!! I've fitted an EMPI GT twin exhaust but otherwise it's still as it came out of the factory.. oh and had to have a klaxon siren!
