In brief: I own a J reg 1971 Beetle 1200 with 1300 engine fitted. I have in the past and presently owned other water cooled VW's. I was interested in the VW scene for a while but other things got in the way. I only started getting really into the scene the last couple of months after getting to know Easigee with her cars.
History: My beetle was originaly a 1200 but in last ten years had a 1300 engine fitted in its place, along with a respray in mars red (not pink) and the fitting of Skoda alloys (also not pink!!). Its in dire need of some welding and new panels plus a bigger engine to suit my lead foot!

Engine
Was originally a 1200cc but has been changed with a 1300cc.
Exterior
Red and fading rat look with bubbles of rust. Lower door panels shot. Bumpers rusty and chrome flaking off. It used to have those nice skoda pink alloys but I recently sold them! To whom will be un-named ;)
For the Future:
Exterior: Complete respray in matt black bumpers and round top window frames. Roof, deck lid and bonnet in oxide red and bottom of doors and rear quarter in white with graffiti (my design). Slammed on other rims or the Skoda rims polished up to a mirror finish.
Interior: Interior will have alloy sheet door panels, more stereo, smaller leather steering wheel and sports seats
Engine: Engine upgraded to either a 1600 or if possible something MAD and out of control!
