In brief: I got the beetle in 2005 (this year) and loved it ever since. This is my second car, first was a ford escort (we won't go there eheh). I bought my beetle after ALWAYS-COCA-COLA inspired/nagged me every day about it. Big thanks go out to ALWAYS-COCA-COLA!

Description: 1972 1300cc blue Beetle. Pretty much standard as far as I know, apart from the wheels.

History: After chatting with the previous owner of my beetle he had only owned it for 2 weeks. He buys and sells cars on Ebay, he had mentioned to me that it was previously a father son project which was 90% finished.

The Pepsi Bug

The Pepsi Bug

Model

1972 Volkswagen Beetle 1300.

Engine

1300cc Type 1 air cooled engine with 95,000 miles on the clock.

Exterior

Dark blue paint all over with chrome mouldings. The pepsi logo is on both the nearside and offside doors and more decals to be added soon on the bonnet and engine flap. We'll see how it goes ;-)

Interior

The interior is pretty plain at the moment. It has cream leather seats in the front and did have in the rear as well, although the rear seats have been taken out and in the near future will be smoothed flat. The front seats now have a blue and black set of seat covers over them to match the exterior.

Update

Unfortunatly the Pepsi bug is off the road for a while as it's now no longer safe to drive :( I went to change a wheel bearing at the weekend, got it up on the ramps at work and noticed the front beam is being held on by nothing more than just two bolts! The front chassis is rotten and so I can't risk driving it. :( Here is a picture of it's last journey.
